The brewing of beer at Brogne is as old as the Abbey itself.

The beers of Brogne Abbey are regarded as descendants of the Benedictine tradition developed by the monks at Brogne since the construction of the Abbey. The brewing is now in the hands of laymen brewers who have the heart to conserve the simple and natural brewing methods. It is in this spirit that the beers of Brogne Abbey have reached this day.

Our chief brewer has developed beers with much fermentation, strong and finely spiced for tasting pleasure. After traditional brewing by infusion, the beers benefit from a long period in the vat and from re-fermentation in bottles.
